I first set foot on this beautiful island 20 years ago, remembering the brilliant lights look down from the oval window, making me expectating for a brand new future. Perhaps I didn't know that since my first arrive, I never leave here for long period. The campus life can still evoke my beautiful memories of youth.
Later, as a fresh person in work, I experienced many tribulations. Hope to become a strong career woman, I worked dedicately, obtained a certified public accountant certificate, pursued graduate studies, and became a corporate financial controller. I felt a successful life meant climbing higher and higher. However, all these expectations quietly changed after I became pregnant and gave birth to my daughter.
I transformed from a glamorous career woman to a new mother, and many discomforts and exhaustion made me unable to balance my life. At this stage, it was the mothers in the community I met who gave me companionship and encouragement. On this long road of parenting and personal growth, I seemed to have just begun. This also made me start thinking about my life path and dreams again, as well as what I consider valuable and meaningful. This is also my original intention in establishing Harbors@SG community - to provide a warm and helpful harbor for more parents like me.

After graduating from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, I have been exploring how to live life more artistically and interestingly. I was once the chief host of TikTok "Platinum" institution, with my own channel itsjustrui, selling fashion items and trendy toys, sharing inspiration with everyone, trying new trends at light speed every day! 👗✨
But in a fast-paced world, the most precious thing is not chasing novelty, but returning to the heart and finding the true self. So, this community was born - here, we not only talk about life, but also share the joy of growth and the power of settling the soul together. I hope every girl who comes here can find her own peaceful corner in the complex world, slowly bloom, and become a gentler and firmer self. 💛✨
